Executive Notes

President Bob Hunt
''Season's Greetings'' and Welcome Back to our club members and visitors to this website. It looks like we have Mother Nature on our side so far this winter and on behalf of the executive and club volunteers, we hope everyone will find the time to get out and enjoy the trails. There has been some impressive bridge building and trail work done to give you an enjoyable ride. Check this website often as we will do our best to keep you informed of trail openings and club events.

Vice President Bruce Hope
Hi. My name is Bruce Hope and I'm the Vice-President of the Hanover-Neustadt Snowmobile Club. I'd like to extend greetings to all our site visitors, members and non-members alike. I've been snowmobiling for about twenty-five years now and have been an active member of the HNSC since 1992. Prior to that, I was a member of the Neustadt Snow Angels before they joined with Hanover. How many remember that? My wife is also an avid snowmobiler as well as our three kids. My oldest just turned twelve and is bugging me to get her licence.
My message to all of you is that snowmobiling is a wonderful way to enjoy winter. There is breathtaking scenery, meeting old friends and making new ones, friendly brand bashing and just plain getting away from it all. It also makes for great family outings. There's nothing more exhilirating than heading out on freshly groomed trails for a day of fun-filled riding. It's also great to be able to stop in at the clubhouse to warm up and enjoy a hot chocolate or cheeseburger from our kitchen. We at the HNSC take great pride in our trails, our clubhouse and our membership. They are second to none.
Great trails, a warm clubhouse with heated washrooms and full kitchen don't come without hard work and money however. We owe it all to our dedicated volunteers who put in countless hours building and maintaining our trails, our clubhouse and this website. Funds that we raise keep the lights on, pay taxes, insurance, trail stakes, general upkeep etc, etc, etc. The list goes on and on. We also like to help out by giving something back to the community. Check out the donations to HARC and Walkerton and District Community Living.
We are always looking for more volunteers to help out. Especially in the kitchen on weekends. We love to keep it open all weekend, but there are only so many people with so few hours to spare. We will do our absolute best to keep the kitchen open. If you can help in any way, please contact us.
Take a few minutes to browse our site. If you have any ideas, comments, questions.... contact us. Also if you have any stories or pictures (snowmobile related) that you would like posted, send them in. On behalf of the Hanover-Neustadt Snowmobile Club, I'd like to wish everyone a happy and safe riding season.

LET IT SNOW!!!!!!!!!! Bruce
